We develop and operate the AstroTalky mobile application, designed to provide personalized astrological insights, horoscope generation, kundli comparisons, and conversational AI guidance. We are committed to transparency, security, and protecting the privacy of our users ("you", "your").

This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, maintenance, and disclosure of information that you provide when you use the AstroTalky mobile application and related web services.

2. Information We Collect

To deliver accurate celestial calculations and interactive AI features, we collect several categories of information. Depending on how you interact with AstroTalky, this information may include:

Geocoding Precision: When you input your place of birth, we use a secure geocoding lookup API to resolve the place name to latitude and longitude parameters. We do not track your physical real-time GPS location in the background.

3. How We Use Information

AstroTalky utilizes your data to build personalized, premium astrological experiences. Specifically, your data is used to:

  • Generate customized daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly horoscope predictions.
  • Render accurate Vedic Kundli charts and perform compatibility matches.
  • Facilitate a responsive conversational interface using generative AI models.
  • Maintain wallet ledgers, tracking coin balances for in-app unlocks and premium services.
  • Verify subscriptions and process transactions via Google Play Console Billing API.
  • Deliver urgent push notifications concerning system status, horoscopes, or daily reminders.

4. Processing & Sharing

We believe in keeping your cosmic data private. We do not sell, barter, or lease your personal parameters or conversational inputs to third-party data brokers or marketing firms. Data is shared only with trusted infrastructure providers required to execute app functionality:

  • Generative AI Engine (Google Gemini API): Message logs are sent securely to Google's Gemini API server to synthesize predictions. These inputs are sent as isolated queries and are not associated with your permanent identification profile. We do not train proprietary AI models on your private communications.
  • Google Play Billing & Services: Used to confirm purchases, handle subscriptions, and coordinate secure authentication flows.
  • Hosting Services: All backend databases, scripts, and logs are hosted on secured web servers protected by transport layer encryption (HTTPS).

5. Data Security

We implement robust industry-standard security measures to safeguard your information. All transmission of data between the AstroTalky application and our backend servers is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) / Transport Layer Security (TLS). Passwords stored in our database are fully hashed using modern cryptographic hashing algorithms (BCrypt).

While we apply maximum commercial effort to secure your personal profiles, please remember that no transmission method over the internet is 100% impenetrable. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your AstroTalky credentials.

6. Data Retention & Rights

We retain your profile settings and chat transcripts as long as your account remains active, ensuring you can access your historical data anytime. You have complete control over your parameters:

  • View & Modify: You can edit your birth parameters and profile variables directly in the App under My Profile → Edit Profile.
  • Full Account Deletion: You can purge your entire record instantly from our servers. In the App, navigate to Settings → Delete Account. This action executes a database-level cascading deletion, instantly clearing your user profile, transactions, coin balance, saved charts, and full chat logs.

7. Children's Privacy

AstroTalky is designed for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identification records from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal details, please contact us immediately so we can take steps to erase the record from our databases.
